Bespoke Project 05: A Burnt Orange Bespoke Wedding Suit

When Colin reached out about a custom wedding suit in our burnt orange, we were excited to bring it to life.

He had fallen in love with our Burnt Orange Hastings Smock and knew it was the perfect colour for his wedding day.

Together, we designed a suit that felt striking and personal for the occasion, while ensuring each piece could be worn again, long after the celebration.

We designed a unique shawl collar jacket, a nod to a lapel tailored suit but relaxed enough that it still felt workwear inspired. The trousers were designed with a deep front pleat and a rolled cuff. Subtle details such as the waist band button adjusters means these trousers can be altered in fit when needed.

At Soder Studio, each bespoke commission is a deeply personal and collaborative experience, designed to bring your unique vision to life. We begin with an in-depth consultation where we discuss your ideas, inspirations and needs. From there, we develop a curated mood board, explore fabric options, and present a series of initial sketches tailored to your aesthetic.

Once a direction is chosen, we construct a toile (a prototype made from calico cotton) to test the design and perfect the fit. This step allows you to see and feel the shape of your garment before any final fabrics are cut, ensuring every detail is refined to your satisfaction.

After adjustments have been made, we move on to crafting the final piece using your chosen fabric. Every garment is handmade with care in our London studio, using high-quality materials and expert techniques to ensure exceptional fit and finish.

The bespoke process typically takes several months from start to finish, depending on the complexity of the design and scheduling of fittings. However, the result is a truly one-of-a-kind garment, thoughtfully designed, beautifully constructed, and uniquely yours.

Each bespoke commission starts with moodboard development, fabric selections, and sketches of options

We’re now open for bespoke commissions for late 2025 and 2026!
