Why do we offer a made to order service?

In 2021 Söder Studio launched it’s first Collection 01 as a made to order (pre-order) service. Allowing our first ever customers to secure and purchase the style and size they wanted.  Taking these early orders allowed for us to produce only the orders made and was a great opportunity to learn which style’s were most popular.  This is one of the steps we’ve taken to help tackle over production, one of the leading causes of waste in the fashion industry. 

After a year of popups and markets, we recognised how important it was for our customers to try on our garments prior to purchasing.  Garments are a tactile item and I believe need to be experienced in person, especially when they had subtle and unique details and cut. 

While hosting more popups is on the horizon for us we also made the decision recently to started stocking our product with some wonderful small independent stores. Giving the opportunity for more people to try on our items. 

With the launch of Collection 02 we wanted to stay true to our origins and offer our loyal community the chance to order our new pieces directly from us before they are stocked in retailers. To thank you for your support, all made to order purchase will be 30% discounted from their future retails price.

The Made to Order Process

Over the June and early July all items from Collection 02 will be available for made to order at a 30% discount from our retail price.  

Your order will then take approximately 6-8 weeks to make as we organise a few small production runs. During this time you will be able to follow the behind the scenes of your garment being made.

If you see a style you like but not sure what size you’d be, we will also be hosting a few popups over the summer so you can have the chance to try on the new styles and find your perfect fit.
